Throughout my professional life, I have worked with individuals and organization to identify opportunities, solve problems, and achieve goals. My real estate career began in 2003 after 20+ years in commercial banking, financial planning, and management consulting. My last banking position brought us to Florence in 2000. I have served on the boards of the Home Builders Association, Florence Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Central Oregon Coast Board of Realtors, and was named Realtor Of The Year in 2012 and 2016. I have also served as a state director of the Oregon Association of Realtors. I hold the professional designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES).
A significant part of the service equation is based on my thorough knowledge of the Florence community and understanding your unique lifestyle needs and desires. Developing a personal relationship with clients is a critical factor in customer satisfaction. It goes well beyond social media. Communication is personal, with a strong preference of telephone and face to face. I believe we have a fiduciary duty of loyalty to our clients. I represent buyers and sellers exclusively, and only under extroardinary circumstances, will I represent both buyer and seller in the same transaction.
My wife Karen and I are greatful to be living on the Oregon coast. The natural beauty, abundant lakes and rivers, and mild climate, along with the proximity to Eugene make Florence a perfect place to call home. We enjoy traveling the backroads on our Harley Davidson Road King and camping in our great state parks. Florence is also a comminity of participants. Opportunities to volunteer are endless. Community groups, non-profits, visual and performing arts are always looking for new members to explore new interests.
